The SouthCentral Bike Fest is not the first event to be held for bikers here in Chase City, Virginia. For many years this event was called The SouthCentral Bike Fair and was sponsored and overseen by the Chase City Volunteer Fire Department. In 2016, the Fire Department decided not to continue the Bike Fair for understandable reasons.
A group of local motorcycle enthusiasts wanted to see this event continue. With an eye towards providing a weekend dedicated to motorcycle riders and others who enjoy the friendship, camaraderie and just plain fun that accompanies the event, a group came together to continue the tradition! Notice we changed the name to the SouthCentral Bike Fest instead of SouthCentral Bike Fair indicating a new Bike Event, managed by a new group of People. A new steering committee was formed and will continue to work diligently to see that this is an annual event, one that will improve over time using suggestions from people just like you! For bikers, by bikers!
Join us on June 8-10, 2017 for the 1st annual SouthCentral Bike Fest as we raise money to assist area cancer patients. It’s a weekend of camping, bands, DJs, cruise-in, bike show, poker run, bike rodeo, fireworks, bikini bike wash and more. It’s not just another bike fest. We will kick off Thursday evening with a town sponsored BBQ supper & DJ at 5 PM, then Friday at noon with a 2 hour and 4 hour historic ride (southern style) followed by DJs (Brad & Wildthang), The Konnection Band and ending with fireworks dedicated to fallen bikers and veterans. Saturday morning begins at 9AM with the poker run and tons of other events and entertainment by SUNDHOUSE DJ Services, C.J.Ballard Band & Tuesday’s Gone to finish up the evening. We have a ADULT ONLY Camp Ground and a Family Friendly Camp Ground. Kids under 18 are not allowed in the venue after 6 PM although kids can be in the family friendly campground. We have some fantastic country roadways and many historic stops for your riding pleasure. Early entry at 3 PM on Thursday, all bikes/campers out by Noon Sunday.
